The Lepton II Series of Diode Lasers is intended for OEM users who need the ultimate in diode laser characteristics. These diode lasers have circular, Gaussian beams with diffraction limited performance. Wavefront quality is superior to any diode laser found in the market. This translates to the smallest focused spot sizes or the most highly collimated beam and the most consistant laser characteristics from lot to lot. End result will be higher resolution and accuracy for your instrument. A variety of optical and electrical accessories extend the possibilities to taylor the laser to your application. The lasers are available in a wide variety of wavelengths, power levels, beam sizes and shapes.
Accessories which are integrated into the module are various beam sizes, focusing optics, beam expanders, external photodetectors, and other beam shapes. All alignments and parameters are optimized so that you get consistant quality from laser to laser.
Applications for the Lepton II Series include DVD mastering, mass storage, microscopy, confocal microscopy, optical correlators, free space communications, particle sizing and any application where you need to obtain the smallest spot possible.
