A new higher power 1550nm laser is now avaible with output power of about 20mW. This turnkey system makes it easy to get going on your project.

The 1550nm DFB laser has <10MHz linewidth and a built-in isolator. Laser is temperature cooled for high stability. Output power is spatially filtered and can be adjusted. Laser can be modulated to 500kHz or have output adjusted by an external voltage source. Includes a 1 meter fiber patchcord terminated with FC/UPC connectors. This laser is based on our Fermion 1 Series of fiber coupled lasers. PM version of this laser also available.

Output of the fiber can be collimated with our FC Series of fiber collimators with adjustable focus. They are avaible with apertures from 5mm to 45mm. Receptacle on the collimators is FC.
